Poland's motorways have improved enormously, and a car makes it easy to link Kraków with Zakopane and the Tatras, or Gdańsk with Malbork Castle and the Baltic beaches. Prices are often lower than in Western Europe, especially outside July and August.
Local Polish suppliers frequently appear alongside the international brands in the results. Compare the deposit and excess as well as the price, since these vary more between suppliers than the daily rate does.
